Prime Minister Ehud Olmert this morning met with Polish President Lech Kaczynski. The two men discussed various issues, including scientific and economic bilateral cooperation.
President Kaczynski referred to visits by Israeli youth to Poland and noted his country's desire that the visits also focus on modern Poland, alongside the past.
Prime Minister Olmert told the Polish President that, "We view your country as an important partner and are pleased by our current and future joint projects. While many young people come from Israel in order to learn about their roots, I have no doubt that they will also become acquainted with additional aspects of your country."
