"Today, Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz and Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom will brief the Cabinet on a series of issues, which will be followed by a discussion.
 
I want to wish Israeli Catholics a Merry Christmas.  Last night, I spoke with Catholic community leaders and asked them to convey Christmas greetings to their communities.
 
Tonight, we will light the first Chanukah candle.  I wish you and your families a Happy Chanukah.  I hope that you will eat doughnuts and potato pancakes.  Eat, yes but don't overdo it."
