The remains of Stephen Norman Herzl, grandson of Theodor (Binyamin Ze'ev) Herzl, on 5.12.07, at 12:30, will be re-interred on Mt. Herzl in Jerusalem.  A memorial ceremony will be held for him on 3.12.07, at 10:00, at the Adas Israel synagogue in Washington, DC, where he was buried in 1946.  His remains will then be flown to Israel.

The World Zionist Organization (WZO) and the Government of Israel, in cooperation with the Public Council for the Commemoration of Binyamin Ze'ev Herzl, brought the remains of two of Herzl's children – Hans and Paulina – for reburial on Mt. Herzl last year.

Diaspora Affairs Minister Yitzhak Herzog, WZO and Jewish Agency Chairman Zeev Bielski and Public Council Chairman Dr. Daniel Polisar will speak at the 5.12.07 ceremony.
