The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) will, on 30.7.08, launch the first meeting of the roundtable that will constitute a framework for continuing dialogue between the Government, civil society and the business sector that is active in achieving public goals.
Last week, dozens of participants were invited to take part in the dialogue, which will mainly deal with fundamental issues regarding inter-sectoral relations and will prepare the infrastructure for additional dialogue in keeping with the Government's February 2008 decision. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will chair the roundtable Summaries of its discussions will be available to other organizations and the general , which will be able to contribute to the discussions in various ways.
The list of participants and the "framework document" of basic rules for inter-sectoral dialogues, were formulated by a team of academics in cooperation with the PMO Policy Planning Division. The Sheatufim organization, which won a PMO tender, will also be involved.
PMO Director-General Ra'anan Dinur praised the initiative.
