Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his wife Sarah and their two sons, Yair and Avner, toured Israel Nature and National Parks Protection Authority and heritage sites in northern Israel. The tour began at Tel Kedesh in the upper Galilee and continued on to Nebi Yusha, Tel Hazor and the ancient synagogue at Corazim. The Prime Minister and his family concluded their tour at Kfar Nahum (Capernaum), from which they observed the Golan Heights. They defined their trip as, "A tour of the deep roots of Jewish history." At Prime Minister Netanyahu's request, the routine of those visiting the various sites was not disturbed; the Prime Minister and his family visited the sites along with the other visitors.
